Power of Thought

HT Hamblin’s motto was: “If you change your thoughts, you change your life.”

HT Hamblin became interested in the New Thought movement which emerged in the 1920s. He started writing courses on how to apply positive thought to everyday life, which he called ‘right thinking’ and published a magazine called ‘The Science of Thought Review’. His work was revolutionary at the time. He saw the application of ‘right thinking’ as a definite science with a measurable effect on the wellbeing of the person who practised it.

Our free PDF Thought, Form & Creative Imagination is an ideal introduction to the profound teachings of HT Hamblin on the subject.

Make peace with everyday sounds in this gentle meditation. Sounds are happening around us all the time - be they the hum of a washing machine, the rumble of traffic, or roadworks on the street outside your window. Rather than waiting for perfect silence, discover how to include these sounds in your practice, using them as anchors rather than obstacles. We also explore the subtle, spacious gap between sound and silence. This meditation invites you to befriend your environment just as it is, and to find calm within in, not in spite of it.
