On 27th and 28th October, there is a notable interaction between five planets in water signs. Strong or intense emotions may be felt. However, there could also be more compassion and a deeper sense of caring. It is worth looking at these factors in more detail.

With Mercury and Mars in Scorpio there could be heated discussions about some very deep subjects. These may relate to concern for other people and not just people close to us but the worldwide family of humanity. There could be much compassion for what other people in the world are experiencing. This links with Jupiter being in Cancer and Saturn and Neptune, both retrograde, being in Pisces.

Saturn brings a steadying influence to the emotions at this time. As it is retrograde, there is the opportunity to look at kindness and compassion, sensitivity and feelings, at a deeper level. The outcome of inner contemplation and reflection may be brought to the surface and integrated into daily life after Saturn goes direct at the end of November.

Although there could be so much emotional energy with five planets in water signs, people may also be more aware of their intuition. Listening to the still, quiet voice within may lead to thoughts, words or actions that might benefit the person themselves or others around them. Humanity is generally becoming more intuitive and the current line-up of planets is an ideal opportunity to develop this inner sense.

There may be a noticeable shift in energy when Mercury moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius on 29th October. This could bring a more optimistic take on what is happening. Mercury will be directly opposite retrograde Uranus at the beginning of Gemini. Discussions may cover the far-reaching effects of some of a multitude of original ideas. Considering the immediate and long-term ramifications may be beneficial.

The drive for change might be enhanced when the Moon, a planet of change, is close to Pluto in Aquarius around the 29th October. The Sun is the only other heavenly body that interacts with Pluto on that day. As the Sun is in Scorpio, the sign co-ruled by Pluto, there could be a great deal of determination to bring about profound changes in society.

Less than a week later, on 4th November, Mars moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius joining Mercury in this sign. It too will be opposing retrograde Uranus. The interaction of these three planets could bring a strong desire for truth about current situations, to find solutions and get things moving. Each of these planets interact with Pluto, underscoring the powerful urges to bring about changes within the collective.

In the first week of November, an interaction between Venus and three retrograde outer planets, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, suggests that taking the initiative might lead to resolution of ongoing challenges. This may involve action that is done with love and for the highest good of all concerned.

At the beginning of November, there may be a move away from using the mind towards being more aware of materiality and the emotions. This is a temporary condition that will ease in due course. It is linked with Venus moving from the air sign of Libra to the water sign of Scorpio on 6th November and retrograde Uranus moving from another air sign, Gemini, back into Taurus on 8th November.

The full Moon on 5th November is in Taurus while the Sun is in Scorpio. At one level this could be a time when emotions might be steadied by doing something practical. At another level, delving more deeply into subjects of interest could be appealing. Subjects could include research, making more thorough enquiries about something that has been puzzling or contemplating the mysteries of life.

It might take some effort to pursue deeper enquiries due to an interaction from both the Sun and Moon to the retrograde planets, Saturn and Neptune. However, a link with Jupiter suggests that using the intuition might be useful in expanding awareness of the prevailing state of affairs. Combining this with what is perceived through the physical senses might be beneficial.

Retrograde Uranus will remain in Taurus until April 2026. The coming months are an opportunity to really look at our relationships with the environment and material resources. There may be changes in financial systems, the economy and methods of agriculture. Breaking down outworn practises allows for them to be replaced by systems that could serve us better.

Keep well, stay happy.
