The Hamblin Vision is excited to announce a joint venture with our friends at the The Green Door Centre. This continues our annual tradition of marking the United Nations International Peace Day, which this year falls on Thursday 21st September.
Our theme for the event is: The Transformational Power of Peace
In collaboration with The Green Door Centre, this two-hour event will include:
Welcome and introductions
Opening guided PEACE MEDITATION with Mike Jenkins of the Hamblin Vision
A talk on the Transformational Power of Peace, with Astra Ferro, patron of the Hamblin Trust
Refreshment break with teas, coffees and delicious healthy treats, and an opportunity to chat with others
An invitation to write your own message on a peace butterfly, to contribute to our collective Wings of Peace Display
A closing guided meditation with Emma Owen-Smith of the Green Door Centre
This is one of our most popular events on the Hamblin Vision’s calendar, so make sure to reserve your place early.
There is NO CHARGE for attending, although we invite you to donate whatever you feel you can. Donations of any size are deeply appreciated and make a big difference in helping us continue our work of promoting a more peaceful world.
Join us as we reflect and contemplate the peaceful nature of our conscious awareness and explore the incredible potential of peace to transform our lives and our world.
The two guided meditations will provide an opportunity to reconnect to the source of inner-peace within us all. We will be encouraged to expand our capacity to cultivate inner peace and then actively radiate it outward, for the benefit of all.
